The PSRM candidate for president, Igor Dodon, and the leader of "Our Party", Renato Usatii commented on the victory of Donald Trump at the presidential elections in the United States.

Socialists' leader writes that "America will wear red" and "The Americans chose a strong president, conservative, supporter of Christian values, pleading for friendly relations with Russia."

The Americans understand the need to preserve the values, traditions and the land. And they must promote a less-aggressive policy in the world, a policy of propinquity to the East and Russian Federation in particular. So it will be in Moldova after November 13. The Socialists will win along with the country's citizens. We go out to vote on Sunday and to choose the president. Moldova has a future!", is Dodon's message.

Shortly after that, Renato Usatii also commented the results of US election: "Here is ending the warm summer."

We remind you that Donald Trump is the new US president after having 276 electors who voted for the Republican nominee. His Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, has only 218 electors.
